The first transnational meeting of ZP4All is taking shape, and we were thrilled to host Mrs. Vaso Tsorva, General Manager of the Green and Environmental Department at the Municipality of Alimos.
During this gathering, we exchanged valuable insights and best practices from Italy (Formedil Bari) and Portugal (Brigada do Mar), while some innovative ideas, such as the Blue and eco schools from Portugal, sparked great interest among the Municipality of Alimos team.
A Blue School is a pioneering initiative that actively engages the school community in understanding the intricate relationship between the sea and its inhabitants. By integrating the local community into its actions, it fosters a network of partnerships with other Blue Schools.
The ZP4All project is a timely and critical initiative that addresses the pressing issue of plastic pollution by educating and raising awareness among vocational education and training (VET) students and centers across Europe.
As one of the most organized municipalities in Greece, the Municipality of Alimos is deeply committed to green innovation, keeping pace with the latest trends and actively addressing crucial environmental issues like plastic pollution. With this focus, it is well-positioned to provide valuable support to the dissemination and practical implementation of the ZP4All project at any given time.
